wears away, it deteriorates and becomes rough.\u00a0Movement of the bones on this exposed surface is painful.\u00a0When the cartilage wears away completely, the bones rub against each other.\u00a0And, to compensate for the loss of cartilage, damaged bones can begin to grow and form painful spurs.<\/p><h3><strong>SYMPTOMS<\/strong><\/h3><p>Pain is the most common symptom of hip osteoarthritis.\u00a0It can cause you to limp when you put your weight on that leg.\u00a0You may also feel stiff in the hip and have trouble moving.\u00a0Symptoms tend to be worse in the morning or
